FAQ
CLEAR BRA PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF)
What is the prep process?
Cars are washed and clay-barred prior to installation.
What brand do you use?
We primarily use XPEL & 3M Paint Protection Films.
What does it protect against?
PPF protects against environmental hazards such as abrasions, rock chips, and tree sap. Paint protection film is specifically designed to block UV rays from the surface of your paint, preventing fading and ensuring your paint is kept clean.
Can you wax PPF?
We recommend using a spray wax to keep a nice shine and protective coat on top of the PPF.
Why do I need to wait a week to wash my car/get it wet after a wrap or ppf?
It gives the material enough time to cure and ensures that the edges do not lift early.
Why do I need to hand wash my car? Can I use a pressure washer?
Pressure washers can cause the film to lift due to the high pressure of the water. A hand wash with soft water pressure will still clean the vehicle with less chances of getting under the edges of the PPF.
How long will it last? What is the warranty? What does the warranty cover?
PPF has a 10 year manufacturer warranty on material defects (bubbling, yellowing, cracking).
What are the benefits of PPF?
You never have to worry about swirling, etching, or rock chips again. PPF also makes washes easier and will always have a nice gloss finish.
